Walk-In Passport

Passport offices in New York City: all 5 boroughs

105 passport acceptance facilities in New York City: 53 listed as walk-in, 53 listed as appointment-required. Addresses, phone numbers and listing notes are from the U.S. State Department database (pulled October 27, 2026).

Walk-in service is concentrated in Manhattan and the Bronx: in the State Department database every Manhattan and Bronx location is listed as walk-in, while most Brooklyn and Queens post offices and all Staten Island locations list appointments.

Each borough's County Clerk office also accepts passport applications (New York, Kings, Queens, Bronx and Richmond County Clerks). Their listing notes differ, so check the borough page.

If you need a passport within 14 days, an acceptance facility cannot help. You need an appointment at a passport agency (book through the State Department) with proof of travel.
